The truth is, success doesn't come easy.

There is always room for improvement... some potential things I could do to further improve and extend 'Hey Sis' would be to...

  • Add more lessons.  The content of these lessons would include dealing with middle school, mental health, more in-depth relationship content, drugs/alcohol, and planning for the future

  • Reaching out to some organizations that may be interested in working with the organization iGotYouGirl and helping out with the ‘Hey Sis’ product.

  • Begin to build the 'Hey Sis' movement through social media, word of mouth, speaking seminars, and visiting schools.

The skills needed to create 'Hey Sis', included patience, creativity, how to create user sensitive content, and utilizing different presentation forms to present my content.
It took some serious creativity when creating ‘Hey Sis’ because I had to form content, lessons, advertisement, and unique materials, and user sensitive to all my potential users. I had to learn how to create content that wasn’t repetitive within the kit, content that was engaging and interesting, content that was easy to understand, and content that wasn't offensive.

When I began to create 'Hey Sis', I knew it was going to take some patience, which I thought would be the easiest part... WRONG! Patience was one of the hardest things I had to practice when creating 'Hey Sis'. I ran into a creative mental block as I went through the creation process. Practicing patience helped when it came to fighting my creative mental block.
Going through a creative mental block was one the biggest problems I faced during the design process. I can not lie, the creative block did take a shot at my confidence, and my belief that I could create a good event kit for my users. However, with patience I was able to get through this and create something amazing

This has been an amazing journey! As long as this journey has been, I feel like a new part of the journey is just starting and I’m eager to begin the next part of the journey! Nothing is perfect, and there is always room for improvement and growth! I can’t wait to continue this process and grow the ‘Hey Sis’ movement!
